Ground Chicken Stir-Fry:

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground chicken
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 Thai chilies or red chili peppers (finely sliced, adjust to taste)
  • 1 small onion (sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth or water
  • 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
  • Steamed jasmine rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil: Heat oil in a skillet, add garlic and chilies, sauté until fragrant.
  2. Cook onion: Add onion, cook until softened.
  3. Cook chicken: Add ground chicken, cook until no longer pink.
  4. Add sauces: Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and sugar.
  5. Simmer: Add chicken broth, let simmer until thickened.
  6. Add basil: Turn off heat, fold in Thai basil until wilted.
  7. Serve: Serve over steamed jasmine rice.
