Instructions

  4. Add Wet Ingredients: Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract if using.
  5. Combine and Shape: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until a soft dough forms. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough, roll into balls, and place on the baking sheets.
  6. Bake: Gently flatten each ball, sprinkle with sanding sugar if desired, and bake for 8–10 minutes until edges are barely golden.
