Ingredients

Scale

Dough:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract (optional)
  • 2¾ cups all-purpose flour

  • ¾ cup green M&Ms or candy-coated chocolates
  • ½ cup rainbow sprinkles or green sanding sugar (optional)
  • Green food coloring (optional, for tinted dough)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven and prepare baking sheets: Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter and sugars: In a large bowl, cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla and almond extract.
  3. Combine dry and wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until fully combined. Add green food coloring if desired. Fold in chocolate chips, M&Ms, and sprinkles.
