Thickener:
- ¼ cup masa harina
- ½ cup water
Beans:
- 15-ounce can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 15-ounce can pinto beans, drained and rinsed
Instructions
- Brown Beef: In a large pot over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
- Add Ingredients: Add garlic and tomato sauce, stirring for about 1 minute. Mix in seasonings. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Add water if needed.
- Thicken: Whisk masa harina with water, then stir into the chili. Add drained beans and simmer for 10 more minutes.
