Mac and Cheese:
- 16 oz elbow macaroni
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 3 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Garnish:
- ½ cup seasoned breadcrumbs (optional)
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook Macaroni: Cook macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Make Sauce: Melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour, then slowly add milk and cream. Cook until thickened. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- Add Cheese: Reduce heat, add cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses. Stir until melted. Add cooked macaroni and coat.
- Bake: Pour mixture into baking dish. Sprinkle breadcrumbs if desired. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden.
- Serve: Let it cool for 5 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve.

- For extra creaminess, add 2 oz cream cheese with shredded cheese.
