Description

Indulge in the rich flavors of tiramisu in bite-sized truffle form with these creamy and decadent Tiramisu Truffles. Perfect for a sweet treat or elegant dessert.

Ingredients

Scale

Mascarpone Mixture:

  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese (softened)
  • 1 ½ cups crushed ladyfingers (or vanilla wafer crumbs)
  • ¼ cup brewed espresso or strong coffee (cooled)
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon cocoa powder
  • Pinch of salt

Coating and Garnish:

  • 10 oz semi-sweet chocolate (melted, for coating)
  • Optional: white chocolate drizzle or espresso powder for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix Ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, crushed ladyfingers, espresso, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  2. Chill: Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to firm up.
  3. Shape Truffles: Once chilled, scoop and roll into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze for 15–20 minutes to set.
  4. Coat and Garnish: Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate using a fork or dipping tool, then place back on the parchment. Garnish with cocoa powder, white chocolate drizzle, or espresso powder. Chill until firm before serving.
