- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix butter and sugar: In a medium bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and dry ingredients: Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, vanilla extract, and salt until fully combined and smooth.
- Pour into crust: Pour the batter into the unbaked pie crust and smooth the top.
- Bake: Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool and serve: Let the pie cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm, at room temperature, or chilled.
