- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 (8-ounce) can water chestnuts, drained and finely chopped
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Serving:
- 1 head butter or iceberg lettuce, separated into whole leaves
Instructions
- Prepare Ground Turkey Mixture: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté onion until softened, then add garlic and ginger. Cook until fragrant. Add ground turkey, cook until browned. Drain excess fat. Stir in hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
- Finish Filling: Add water chestnuts and green onions, cook until heated through. Season with salt and pepper.
- Assemble: Spoon turkey filling into lettuce leaves. Serve immediately.
