Ingredients
Scale
Watermelon Lemonade:
- 4 cups cubed seedless watermelon
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4 lemons)
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves (plus more for garnish)
- 3–4 tbsp honey or sugar (adjust to taste)
- 2 cups cold water
- 1 cup ice cubes
- lemon slices and watermelon wedges for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Blend Watermelon Mixture: In a blender, combine the watermelon cubes, lemon juice, mint leaves, and sweetener. Blend until smooth.
- Strain and Chill: Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove pulp, if desired. Stir in the cold water and adjust sweetness as needed. Add ice cubes and chill until ready to serve.
- Serve: Pour into glasses and garnish with mint leaves, lemon slices, or small watermelon wedges if desired. Serve cold.
Notes
- You can substitute sparkling water for still water for a fizzy twist.
- For a stronger mint flavor, muddle the mint leaves before blending.
- This recipe can also be turned into a cocktail by adding a splash of vodka or rum.
