Description

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven and prepare baking sheet: Preheat oven to 300°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Beat butter and sugar: In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy, about 3–4 minutes.
  3. Add remaining ingredients: Add vanilla extract, then sift in flour, cornstarch, and salt. Beat until smooth and airy.
  4. Shape and decorate: Drop dough onto baking sheet, flatten, and decorate with sprinkles or cherries.
  5. Bake: Bake for 18–20 minutes until lightly golden on the bottom.
  6. Cool and serve: Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
