Description

White Chocolate Mascarpone Mixture:

  • 8 oz white chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese (room temperature)
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Other Ingredients:

  • 1½ cups strawberry puree (fresh or frozen strawberries blended with a little sugar)
  • 2 tablespoons strawberry liqueur or lemon juice (optional)
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • 1½ cups fresh sliced strawberries
  • Extra white chocolate shavings and strawberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Melt White Chocolate: In a heatproof bowl over simmering water, melt the white chocolate until smooth. Let it cool slightly.
  2. Whip Cream: Whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks and set aside.
  3. Prepare Mascarpone Mixture: Beat mascarpone cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth. Fold in melted white chocolate, then gently fold in whipped cream until fluffy.
  4. Assemble Tiramisu: Dip ladyfingers into strawberry puree and layer in a dish. Spread mascarpone mixture, add sliced strawberries. Repeat layering.
  5. Chill and Garnish: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Before serving, garnish with white chocolate shavings and strawberries.
