Seasonings and Garnish:
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin

- Make Cheese Sauce: Stir in the milk and heavy cream and bring just to a gentle simmer. Reduce heat to low and gradually stir in the cheeses, stirring constantly until melted and smooth.
- Season and Serve: Add garlic powder, cumin, and salt to taste. Keep warm on low heat until ready to serve, stirring occasionally.
Notes
- For a thinner dip, add a little extra milk.
- For more heat, leave some jalapeño seeds or add a pinch of cayenne.
- Best served warm with tortilla chips, over nachos, or as a drizzle for tacos.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat gently on the stovetop or in the microwave, stirring frequently.
