Description

A rich and flavorful Seafood Garlic Butter Dipping Sauce made with melted butter, freshly minced garlic, lemon juice, parsley, and optional crushed red pepper flakes. Perfect for enhancing the taste of your favorite seafood dishes with a buttery, garlicky kick.

Ingredients

Scale

Seafood Garlic Butter Dipping Sauce Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt Butter: In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat until completely liquid but not browned.
  2. Sauté Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant and slightly softened, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Add Lemon & Spice: Stir in the fresh lemon juice and crushed red pepper flakes if using, mixing well to combine the flavors.
  4. Finish the Sauce: Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the chopped fresh parsley along with salt to taste for seasoning.
  5. Serve: Serve the garlicky butter sauce immediately as a warm dipping sauce alongside seafood such as shrimp, crab legs, lobster, or clams.

Notes

  • Use unsalted butter to better control the saltiness of the sauce.
  • The crushed red pepper flakes are optional and add a mild heat to the sauce.
  • This sauce is best served fresh and warm for optimal flavor and texture.
  • Can be doubled or tripled easily for large gatherings.
  • Leftovers can be refrigerated and gently reheated before serving again.
